Updates below as of 5.10.23

 
  • Production proposal (internal assessment): An additional guidance point was added for teachers to refer to when marking the production proposal: “Students who do not mention both performance style and performance space in their theatre-maker intentions cannot achieve a mark above the 5–6 markband in criterion A(ii)”.

  • Research presentation: An additional definition was included in “Key terminology for the task” to ensure students fully understand the requirements of “experimentation” as it pertains to this assessment task.

  • Solo theatre piece (HL): In criterion B(i) the term “developing” was replaced with “having developed” to ensure students retrospectively discuss the process involved in developing the piece over time, rather than simply provide a description of the actual piece itself.
